The Calm Byte

Privacy policy

Last updated 8 November 2026

This policy covers the website thecalmbyte.com and the private publishing tool that The Calm Byte uses to post its own videos to YouTube and TikTok (the “tool”).

Who we are

The Calm Byte is a UK-based creator channel. Contact: hello@thecalmbyte.com.

This website

The site has no sign-up, no forms, no analytics and no advertising cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect against abuse.

The publishing tool

The tool is used only by The Calm Byte to upload its own videos to its own accounts. It is not offered to the public and does not collect data from viewers.

The sign-in tokens and statistics are stored only on The Calm Byte’s own computer. They are not sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising. Access can be withdrawn at any time from Google account permissions or TikTok’s app settings, and stored tokens are deleted when access is withdrawn or no longer needed.

YouTube API Services

The tool uses YouTube API Services. By using features that rely on them you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@thecalmbyte.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes

We will update this page if anything changes, with a new date at the top.
